Grown at high altitude in the dense forests of the Western Ghats, this black cardamom reveals bold pods with a smoky, woody and resinous aroma. Its deep flavour adds warmth and character to curries, biryanis, broths, roasted meats and marinades. The powdered form releases its intense notes instantly into sauces and spice blends.
