Chicken Biryani

A fragrant and flavorful traditional biryani recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Basmati rice
  • 1 kg chicken
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • Our Premium Biryani Masala - 3 tbsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Saffron - pinch
  • Mint leaves - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes
  2. Marinate chicken with yogurt and our Biryani Masala for 2 hours
  3. Fry onions until golden brown
  4. Cook marinated chicken until tender
  5. Boil rice until 70% cooked
  6. Layer rice and chicken alternately
  7. Sprinkle fried onions, mint, and saffron milk
  8. Cook on dum for 45 minutes
